Laughing

Laughing is good for our minds, body, and soul. A girl in my print making class told me the for three years she tried to not laugh because she has some sort of infection in her lungs and it hurt to laugh. One day she realized this was the reason she felt so unhappy and she started to laugh again. Luckily her lungs were doing better so she was able to now laugh with out it hurting.
My sister Ashley loves to watch hilarious videos about animals and people and the weird things they do. She finds these video clips on Pinterest and YouTube. When I lived with her in college the year before I got married I would here her at night laughing her head off while watching some new hilarious video. This always made me smile.

I love to laugh! And I love media that makes us happy and makes us laugh! I think that's one of the great purposes that media can serve.

I tend to laugh often, but the other day, I was really stressed about something and then my husband said the silliest thing that made me laugh until I cried and couldn't breathe. Laughing is my greatest catharsis, and I wish I could have those laugh until you cry moments more often--they're the best! It has to be at appropriate times though because I've had giggle fits hit me at church and it was near torture to overcome.

Thanks for sharing! I once was feeling super upset and frustrated and the thought "just smile" came to my mind. I faked a big cheese ball smile and I started laughing at myself so hard that the smile became real and even more so my laugh then passed to those around me who I was frustrated with and it solved the problem! It is magic!
